RaceVoice Privacy Policy

RaceVoice LLC ("RaceVoice", "we", "us") provides the RaceVoice mobile application ("the App") for race-track telemetry recording, voice coaching, and video overlay. This policy describes what the App collects, how it is used, and the controls available to you.
If you do not agree with this policy, do not install or use the App.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Email address. Used as your account identifier to associate sessions, voice configurations, and car definitions with you.
- Car definitions and voice configurations. User-created data describing your vehicles and per-track voice prompts. Stored on your device and (when you opt in to sync) on our servers.
- Social-media OAuth tokens. If you choose to share content to Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, the App requests access tokens from those platforms. Tokens are stored only on your device in the operating system's secure keychain (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain) and are sent only to the corresponding platform's API. We never receive copies of these tokens.
1.2 Information collected automatically while you use the App

1.3 Information we do not collect
- Contacts, calendar, SMS, call logs, or browsing history.
- Advertising identifiers. The App contains no third-party advertising SDK.
- Health, biometric, or financial data.
2. How information is stored and transmitted
- On-device storage. Track files, segment definitions, voice configurations, telemetry sessions, recorded videos, and generated highlight reels live in the App's private storage area on your device. Other apps cannot read them.
- Cloud sync to RaceVoice servers (optional). When you opt in to sync, the App uploads telemetry sessions, track definitions, voice configurations, car definitions, and generated videos to our servers at
https://racevoicellc.com. Transit is over HTTPS. Server-side data is associated with the email address you provided. - Social media uploads (optional). When you share a video to Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, the video is uploaded directly from your device to that platform's API using the access token you authorized. RaceVoice servers are not involved in this upload.
- No data sale. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone.
3. Use of the information
We use collected information solely to:
- Provide the App's core features (telemetry recording, video overlays, voice coaching, lap timing).
- Synchronize your data across your own devices when you opt in to sync.
- Diagnose and fix crashes.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, train AI models on identifying information, or target you with marketing.
4. Sharing of information
We share information only with the following parties, and only to the extent necessary:
- Hosting infrastructure. The cloud provider that hosts
racevoicellc.comprocesses data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement. - Social-media platforms (only when you initiate a share). Content you post is governed by that platform's privacy policy.
- Legal compliance. If required by valid legal process, we may disclose information to law-enforcement or regulatory authorities.
We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics vendors.
5. Permissions explained
When the App requests an Android or iOS permission, here is what is being asked for and why:
- Location (precise / fine + coarse / when in use). Required to record GPS telemetry. The App does not access your location in the background unless you have an active recording session running.
- Camera. Required to record session video.
- Microphone. Required for the audio track of session video and for voice features.
- Bluetooth (scan / connect). Required to discover and pair AIM telemetry hardware.
- Wi-Fi state. Required to detect joined AIM hardware Wi-Fi networks during pairing.
- Read/write storage and media. Required to save and play back your session recordings.
- Internet / network state. Required for cloud sync, social sharing, and crash reporting.
You can revoke any of these permissions in your device's system settings; doing so will disable the corresponding features.
6. Data retention
- On-device data. Retained until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Cloud-synced data. Retained until you delete it from the App or request account deletion (Section 7).
- Crash reports. Retained for up to 180 days, then deleted.
7. Your rights
You may, at any time:
- View all data associated with your account by signing in to the App.
- Delete individual sessions, tracks, voice configurations, or cars from within the App; deletions propagate to cloud sync.
- Disconnect any social-media account you previously authorized; this revokes the associated token and removes it from device storage.
- Request account deletion. Email support@racevoice.com from the address associated with your account. We will delete your server-side data within 30 days and confirm in writing.
If you are in the EU/UK, you also have the rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR to access, rectify, port, and object to processing of your personal data. If you are in California, you have the rights under the CCPA to know, delete, and opt out of any sale of your personal data (note: we do not sell personal data).
8. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact support@racevoice.com and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
Data uploaded to racevoicellc.com is processed and stored in the United States. By using the App outside the United States, you consent to this transfer.
10. Security
We use HTTPS for all client-server communication, store social-media tokens in the operating system's secure keychain rather than plain files, and limit server-side access to authorized RaceVoice personnel. No transmission or storage system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we apply industry-standard safeguards.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-App and the "Effective date" at the top of this document will be updated. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
